NEED TO RE HOME YOUR DOG ?
At walkies we offer a rehoming service in a loving family atmosphere where we retrain your dog and find them a home best suited to them, problem dogs more than welcome. We specialize in pack behaviour and nervous aggression is our speciality. We are available day or night for rescue cases collection service available for a small fee.
All new owners are vetted and have to spend time with your dog whilst in our care, until we are absolutely certain they are the right choice! Our aim is to find a forever home for every dog, references available we like to keep in touch with all our re homers and many come back for holidays.
We also offer you the option of having weekly reports on your dogs progress and pictures sent to you by email. All we require from you is a small donation this can be dog toys, food etc or an item off our wish list. We do ask for your dogs bedding to make the transitional period better for your dog with a familiar smell.
While here at Walkies your dog receives one on one attention daily our home is set on an idillac 13 acre farm with lots of room for the dogs to play including pasture and woodland. We speacialize in pack behaviour and have plenty of pack play time.
We are close to the river with lot’s of swim opportunities for the dogs too. We call it our little piece of doggy its so peaceful here the perfect place for dogs to re coperate its always been our aim to run a happy, luxiourious dog rescue somwhere for dogs to have fun and feel loved.
Every re homer also gets pampered at amikaya dog grooming and we also have a canine holistic therapist from dogsbods for dogs that need it.
Our re homers come in from all walks of life and are mostly re homed to family homes so we know they can cope in a home environments. We make each re homer as part of our family and part of our day to day family life. This is what sets us apart from other rescues. We do not judge you and understand how hard it is to make the decision to re home your dog.

WANT TO REHOME A DOG?
First things first we ask you to seriously think about wherever you can offer one of our re homers a forever home. Owning a dog is like choosing a partner and its a commitment of 15 yrs or more.
You are welcome to come and meet us and our re homers for a coffee and a chat to see if we have the perfect dog for you. All our re homers require a £170 donation regardless of breed or pedigree this helps us help more dogs. We like you to spend time getting to know your chosen dog and to bring your family along . Whether it be your children, partner or other pets.
We require you to fill out adoption forms its important to fill these forms out with as much information as possible. For example if you require the dog to walk next to a pushchair or be left alone for a few hours in the day tell us so we can make sure the dog can do this, by integrating these activities into their training plan.
When you re home one of our dogs you receive an adoption certificate. We are always on hand for advice and support with your new adventure with your four legged friend. We ask you to keep in contact and if possible meet up for beach days once or twice a year. Each re homer comes with half price dog grooming for life, innoculations, tailor made training pack unique to your chosen re homer and our life time support of back up guranteed.
